Who is this for?
Dog guardians who want me to be there with them for hands-on, tailored guidance - especially for reactivity, fear, or a specific issue you haven't been able to shift alone. I only train using reward-based, force-free methods - if that's the approach you're looking for, let's talk. How many sessions will I need?
Every dog is different and we have to go at their pace. The first block is 4 sessions long but for most, it’s only the start, depending on what we are working on. We often continue on a 2 session / month basis, or ad hoc single sessions, as appropriate. Once you're feeling more confident, online coaching and the Confident Dog Mum Club are both great ways to keep that support going at a more affordable price, without needing ongoing 1:1 sessions.

Where will we actually work on reactivity stuff?
That really depends on you and your dog. We usually start without other dogs around at all, so we can build up the foundations first, before adding any extra distractions. Depending on what you need, sessions might be in a secure field (sometimes with other dogs, sometimes without), or out in public spaces. Once you and your dog are feeling more confident, you've got the option to join small group social walks and classes too, to keep building on what you've learned.

What is the process?

  • 1. Book Your FREE Discovery Call

    Let’s have a quick chat before we commit! This one is in place for us both to make sure we are the right fit for each other and gives you a chance to ask me any questions you might have about the package or training process. We will discuss where is best to hold our sessions (e.g. online, in person at home, outside etc.) and book your assessment call.

  • 2. Consultation & Assessment Call

    We start with a detailed consultation call where we’ll go over your dog’s history, any training and behaviour challenges you are facing, and dig into the behaviours you are seeing so we can understand the root cause better. Looking at dogs holistically is very important so we’ll also look at things like your dog’s wellbeing, sleep, meeting needs and outlets to make sure none of these are impacting your dog’s behaviour/training. We will also discuss any immediate management options.

  • 3. 121 Sessions (local or online)

    The first session often forms part of the assessment and may be held online, at your house, secure field or in a public location. Depending on the locations we decide on for the sessions, we will then start working through the plan to help you and your dog. I will teach and guide you and you’ll get plenty of hands-on experience so you can develop your training skills for life.
